That just means that the picture was not available at the time that you wanted it. Maybe it's missing? Maybe your javascript or ActiveX is not up to date?
Go to HELP and pick ABOUT. This will show you your Internet Explorer version. It should be Version 6 with SP1. If not, visit http://www.microsoft.com and go to the Download section. From there, go to the Internet Explorer section and look for the download for Version 6 with SP1. For gosh sakes, don't pick Version 7 BETA, since it is BOGUS still. You WILL have problems with it.

Right-click on the X and click "Show Picture". If that doesn't work, check to see if below your toolbar, you have an information telling to install something. If not, then the page has a problem.

(Probably) The image was not found/does not exist, and no alternate text was listed in the link to the image.
Try putting in the correct URL of the image. (The file name needs to be corrected)
Also, try refreshing the page (hit F5)
