What kind of god would give us brains, and then send us to hell for using them?

Not likely since evolution is pure science and does not conflict with any doctrinal truth of the Christian faith (many scientists are believers in God and in Creation, as well as in evolution, photosynthesis, mitosis, and other scientific processes, myself included). Evolution does not "override" Creation. They exist in perfect harmony, as does all truth.

No Scientists will not suffer. It is NOT a sin to discover truth, only IT IS SINFUL to make bad use of this truth.

The work of a Scientist is to discover truth (however unpleasant it is). The work of Religion is to (accept Scientific truth and) teach people make good use of this truth and prevent bad uses.

Religious leaders should not (and cannot) deny or modify truth.
They should understand that MORAL SCIENCE is their real field, and not interefere with Physical Science.

Only God knows. Any person who presumes to know what God wants should read the book of Job again.

Besides, even the Pope acknowledges that the story of creation in the Bible should not be taken literally.

Errrmmmm....... Which one of the creation stories are you refering to? There are quite a few of them (scattered throughout various religions).

And what makes you think that 'the' creation story you are asking about is the 'correct' one? Or are they all correct?

I have evidence that scientists and evolution exists. Do you have anything on Hell? Like to share it with us?

No, but creationists who refuse to use their God-given brains to examine the facts - they will go to hell for not using the talents the creator has bestowed upon them!

I do not think too many scientists are in Hell. This is exactly what and where Hell is:

You just don't get it!!!! Most scientist believe in God. Try being a little more open minded and you will see that the two "Theories" aren't necessarily contradictory.

who knows, but if thought about evolution and creation really parallel each other. what I'm saying is there is a "eve" gene found that shows that all women come from one women. so that confirms both.
