Reagan and the fundamentalist Christians have allowed words like Liberal and Socialist and now Progressive to become "bad" words. Its about time that true Progressive Socialist Liberal Democrats came out and declared what they stand for and stand proud.

Canadas health care systems is bankrupt
Sweeden is going bankrupt
France has a 11% unemnployment rate.
the Pilgrims abandonded communal living after near starvation and adopted the concept of private property and self reliance. The end result was Thankgsgiving.

The Liberals have done it to themselves. They have run so far out of the main stream their ideas are so contrary to those of the average person that they cannot truthfully articulate them and expect to get votes.
