The only movie that used to make me cry used to be a walk to Remember. Now if I find something slightly sad, I cry my eyes out. Why? Is there anything I can do about it, my sister keeps laughing at me and giving me weird looks! I cried just watching Full House!

No it happens even when I'm not PMSing, and my mother is really sensitive too(Genetics may play a part in it, but I never used to be like this). I don't think its the fact that I'm unhappy either.

No, not ALL females get really sensative. Perhaps you are doing it because maybe you are unhappy, and even the slightest bit of portrayal of an unahppy person/family triggers it. Also, as a teenager, everything is thrown at you, and you can be overwhelmed and maybe its your brains way of letting you release built up pain and sadness. Im pretty sure its just because theres alot going on in your life.

I think it's perfectly normal. You are just becoming a woman and it can be very scary and strange. It is better to be sensitive than hard-hearted.

not all.. but i guess most of the teens would go / pass that stage..
coz even my younger sisters are very sensitive right now.. then i remembered that i was once like them also..
it's actually because they are not that 'mature' enough.. =)

Maybe not all. But welcome to the world of crazy a** hormones and illogical, random female emotion!! Stay away from Lifetime Television.

BTW, you are probably just PMSing.
