I had the same problem with MSN. Best thing to do is drop it and download Yahoo messenger with BT Communications. It works very well and allows you to messenger Windows Live MSN.

I personally don't like msn messenger it caused a lot of problems on my computer but if you must have it make sure you download it only from the Microsoft website. Peace!

maybe its in beta stage..download yahoo messenger u can talk to people on msn now so it makes no difference which u use. or u can contact microsoft about it....

It could be a number of things - i would check microsoft's website for any available updates and suggestions. And if the crash is persistent, i would run an anti-virus.

msn mess is a mess i had the same problem so i deleted all files that pertained to it no more problems. use yahoos mess system it has been upgraded to a highly intricate way to chat with people.

Most likely, wasn't downloaded properly or installed properly. Do it again , if that doesn't work i'd try dropping you pc
