We don't want to go through a Real Estate agent. We are willing to pay someone $500 to bring us a qualified buyer. Does anyone think this is worth it? The house is a great, remodeled home in a FANTASTIC neighborhood. We just want the publics opinion if they would bother to help a friend/family member/work mate, etc. find a house and earn $500 for basically just mentioning it to them. What do you think?

You can sell yourself or use a licensed agent. You cannot have anyone else sell it for you, legally. If you are in the US.

I think that no Realtor would want to do so as they'd have to split that w/ their broker. But maybe you have a friend who would.

save ur money and advertise in the newspaper.
