Here's my honest opinion. There are some readily available aftermarket performance parts for your car but they won't put your car where you'll want it to be. See also it depends how much money you have to spend. You can get a cold air intake, a cat-back exhaust, underdrive pulleys, computer chips, bigger camshaft, port/polish your heads. But it will take a lot of money to make your car as quick as a Z28. Technically it will probably be cheaper to sell your car, and buy a used 94/95 Z28 with the 5.7L LT1 motor. I had a 95 Z28 for six years and it was the most fun car I have ever owned. Technically you could also buy a LT1 motor on ebay fairly cheap. It's a very common motor and they are getting cheaper everyday. Another suggestion I have for you is to go to www.camaroz28.com. It's one of the worlds largest Camaro forums, and there is a lot of 6 cylinder Camaro guys there. So basically any question you have relating to your car has already been answered. I love that website. Any other questions feel free to email me at breynn@sbcglobal.net Take care.

The best thing you can do to it is some preventative maintenance. You would be foolish to contemplate putting a blower on this engine. It is not a race engine. It will blow up unless you can find a way to re-inforce everything inside. You've already done plenty, though. If I were you , I would put in some Mobil One, some Bosch Platinum (single points) and power flush all the GM coolant out of the engine before you get major intake manifold leaks, or gasket leaks. PUt in some Mercedes Benz, or Audi purple coolant. and pray your heads don't crack.
