I am 24 years old and 5'3" and 100 pounds. I am a live-in nanny for a 6 year old and we are having a halloween party. So I need something cute and not skanky, something good that the kids will like but still cute. Any ideas on a dress for Barbie? They don't make them in my size.

Go to the thrift store and look at old prom dresses... or maybe you have one.
Then buy a pair of white arm-high gloves, a shiny faux diamond necklace and false eyelashes. Wear your hair in an up-do and don't forget the high heels and stockings.

Viola`! You're a Barbie that all the little girls will love! You might even find an old fur shoal to wear on your shoulders.
The local thrift stores have wonderful treasures!

Go through some of the clothes that Barbie actualy wears. Try to find a skirt and top or a dress that she wears. Same with shoes. It doesn't have to be exact but it will help you figuare out what to wear. If you don't have blonde hair get a long blonde curly wig and some pink lipstick

Deffinitely go with the thrift store idea. YOu want something outlandishly not you or stylish. Barbie (stereotypically) wears 80's prom dresses made of spandex and lots and lots of froo froo at the bottom. You want matching shoes with a large heel. Just try to go all out gaudy 80's prom is what you want to think. Something short (like knee length). And wear a blonde wig if you're not blonde

Just buy a pink dress and pink heels and a blond wig. If you can find a large B pin that would be a nice addition.

Get a 50's style dress and make sure to find one of those plastic hair wigs. (the ones that are molded as one piece.)
