Pros--1. Your Sims actually live for lengths of time and you can build generations of Sims!
2. The first two expansions rock! Sending Sims to college is really fun and Nightlife might be the best Sims expansion in my opinion.
3. You can have "babies" by blending the features of Mom and Dad in the Create-a-Sim screen.
4. The graphics are awesome and detailed.
5. There are some cheats that really help the game along (I use 'em cause I love to do things without worrying about Simoleons!)
Cons--1. Highly addictive! LOL
2. You need some memory and a good quality graphics card to get the full effects of the Sims. For example, depending on the speed of your processor, you can only have so many people at your Sims house or it really slows down the game.
3. Keeping up with the Sims Wants. In the Sims 2, the Sims have Needs (of course) and Wants. The Wants can be ridiculous, like Want--Buy telescope costing at least 500.
4. The latest expansion, Open for Business, is more difficult than the previous two. I just like it for certain options and extra objects. I just think Open for Business was pointless.
5. The "Family Fun Stuff" and "Glamour Life" packs are objects only--at $20 a pop.
6. Certain downloaded objects can mess up your game--even if they're from the offical site!
To me, the Pros outweigh the Cons--and Sims 2 Pets is in the works for the PC and console!! (That was the best expansion for the original Sims!) So, have fun, buy the Sims 2 and expect to spend many happy hours in front of your PC ;)

Sims 2: professional - the mind-blowing expansions, the flexibility to have pets or initiate your guy or woman enterprise purely made the activity so exciting and new. Con - Falling in love is purely too ordinary, you could fall in love with all of us and there is no conflict. Sims 3: professional - The moodlets and character characteristics. Having particular characteristics actual does make contributions to different sims verbal substitute, they actually do communicate approximately gardening in the event that they love the exterior and hate people who're unfavorable if their snobby :) its incredibly clever. Cons - the garments and hair are purely poor, it makes the activity incredibly boring :(

Its so awesome. If you love the origial Sims, then you will ABSOLUTLEY LOVE the Sims 2. It is ten times better, they are able to do so much more. Women will get pregnant and you can see their bellys grow, they give birth to an infant, the the baby grows to a todler, then to a child, to a teen ager, then young adult, if you have the university ep, then to adults and finally elders, then die. Its AWESOME. I can't say enough good things about it. It is well worth the price, and for even more fun you have to have all the expansion packs, the pets one is comeing out next month. I can't wait

Okay well the Sims 2 is extremely fun!!! But it is expensive, your computer has to be completely updated and it is so addicting you loose track of time so you think you will play for an hour it ends up being three!

Its an AWESOME game. I love it. The only thing is you really have to have a good video game card for your computer which is fairly expensive, if you dont have one built in already the game wont even work well. If at all.

Pros- it's like controlling your own little people. And you'll be surprised how real it is and how wrapped up you get into it.
Cons- make sure u have an updated video card because if you don't the graphics won't be as good.
