If I was available to work the hours I would appreciate the opportunity to make some extra cash. If I was unable to work the hours asked I would tell my supervisor I'm not available. What does it have to do with the other workers?

Am I getting a pay increase to go along with this extra workload? If I'm so much better than everyone else that my boss wants to shift more of the work to me, I should get a raise in recognition of my superior contribution.

Your supervisor may feel that you have great skills and excellent work practice, and is thinking of promoting you in the future. He or she may possibly have given you additional hours to see if you are willing to make changes, and will happily accept change and work with him or her.

Best wishes and I hope this works out well for you. :-)

Very flattered, however, when other staff are disadvantaged, over another staff member receiving preferential treatment, it is called Discrimination.

You may be highly motivated and you may have more loyalty and dedication than the other's. They have to be offered the same opportunity as you. It is called equity in the workplace. Sux doesn't it.

Flattered. The sup probably thinks you do great work and they'll be getting the most out of their company's money by asking you to work as opposed to someone who doesn't do good work.
