Actually, Chavez probably lost more respect in the long run than he gained with his insane outbursts. You don't call the leader of the country who has just recently shown you their hospitality the devil. It's kinda rude. Rudeness pretty well defeats the purpose of diplomacy.

Yes. he really should. being the brave man he is. He should do this..instead of being an arm chair warrior. He should also give the people of Iraq a speech..about how he Liberated them from 'evil.' I think it will be received with great enthusiasm...considering the people of Iraq are SOOOOOOOO much better off now! And since he is such a good orator, everyone would love it!

Bush would not stoop so low as that commie bastard, Chavez with his great big pumpkin head is running around the world attempting to be something that he is not... a Fidel Castro spin off, his people are looking at his stupid humor as ignorance and as embarrassing to their country and the powerful pro-capitalist element in his country will dispose of him in due time.

Good point. Chavez and Mahmood Adolfinejad can say whatever they jolly well want and not get killed whereas, if you say anything anti-govt. in any of their respective nations, it's jail time or death.

This reeks of double-standard.
