Some people think Aerosmith had no business performing any Diane Warren song.
I personally like the song. It puts me in a mooshy mood. And I think that had it not been for a quality rock group like Aerosmith and a voice like Steven Tyler's, it wouldn't have been anything more than a cheesy pop ballad like some of Warren's other compositions.

I love Aerosmith (I have seen them twice in concert so far) and I do love that song. I don't cry when I hear it, but I just watched Armageddon last Sunday and I always get teary eyed when I see the part where she's talking to her dad and watching him on the TV.

I've always really liked that song, too! I've seen Aerosmith live twice, and they are awesome! If you ever get a chance to go to one of their concerts, you have to!

the first album when I saw them live in 1974? was the best
hearing that album/Cd still gives me goose bumps
