But of course. When you're old, you're considered to be more mature; thus your outlook should correspond with your wisdom. Whereas, when you're young, you're granted, a more latitude because of your inmaturity. So being young , quirky and cutesy is acceptable .

Young girls can get away with using that fake, high, cutesy "I'm dumb and innocent voice." It sounds absolutely ridiculous on somebody past the age of 18. I wish somebody would tell this 20-something waitress at my favorite restaurant that. It's a pain in the butt even going there anymore because her fakey voice drives me crazy!!

well it is all about perception.....what we think is acceptable with the young and what is not in the older person.
simply put what does the general populace like and think is normal.
