when you get ready to burn a cd, it use to show the selection
of the burn speed. now all that shows is image recoreder.
someone please help with this problem.

Have you tried un-install your CD burner program and install that again ?

See if there's a drop down menu where you see the image recorder/reader. If so, choose the cd writer in the drop down menu.

attempt going to gadget manager and uninstalling the rigidity then restart your workstation which at the same time as restarted will rigidity a reinstall of the drivers for the rigidity. See if that works before downloading any application or doing some thing else drastic.
