For current bands, my favorite is Audioslave. It's Chris Cornell (from Soundgarden) singing, and the rest of the band is Rage Against the Machine. They are SO good! I also like The White Stripes, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Tool, Jet, Velvet Revolver, and Shinedown.
