i am going to use a stud and he is just going to put it through but what would be a good way to do this?

Hold a piece of ice on it for about and hour... Then heat up a giant safety-pin with a lighter till its red. Serilization. Let it cool then oush it through really hard... its kinda tricky. The stud will be a little bigger so your have to push it through hard again... But the studs dont usually have a sharp enough point to peirce anything. Its a little painful so the best option is to go to an actual peircer... But this way is more fun! Muahahaaa!
PS ive never used something on the back but im assumeing that its a good idea and would work quite well. :D

the only good way to do it is at a place were they would do it for you. but.... if u really really dont want to go there then you need like a cold patotoe and put it under ur ear adn out an ice cube in top. this will numb the ear. after that you need a steril needle. so this way u dont get an infestion. then quickly move the ice and put the needle in. This will hurt alot. well obviously but then make sure that u have some paper towels(incase the blood comes out) then after a few seconds sticks the stud in. buti HIGHLY suggest that u just go to the mall and ask them to do it for u!!!

i think u should get it at a piercing place cuz having a friend do it might b dangerous...if u do end up doing it tho and u dont have a really sharp stud just use a needle...to sterilize it u burn the end of it and i think u freeze it after...put an apple or something else of that texture behind the ear for the needle to go into and then take the needle out and put the stud in...try to get some ear cleaning solution NOT HYDROGEN PEROXIDE cuz that stings and it doesnt really help the piercing.

cut off a big chunk of potato, put the flat side on the back of your ear, then with a sterile diaper pin bent all the way open jab it through the ear into the potato, then pull the potato off, twist the pin around (this is gonna hurt) then pull it out and immediately put the sterile earring in the hole (might take some doing) voilà
I did my own and all my friends ears
P.S. no need to bother with ice, doesn't numb it long enough to work, and when you go to the mall they use a gun making a way to big hole

your friend should freeze your ear, use a sterilized needle, and hold a raw potato behind your ear while piercing to assure no other part gets pierced as the needle comes through the back of your ear. oh yea, you need to mark the spot with a marker first, to assure the right location. Good Luck!

get a pair of sharp earings like they pierce ur ear with and use ice before hand and make sure u twist the earring everyday after u get it in so the skin doesn grow over it and so the hole will stay open and i'd also make sure to clean it ever day with a perixide and water mix

Get a earring, put an apple underneath your ear while piercing, but before, freeze it with an ice cube.

Make sure the earring is sterile to prevent infection. Your friend should wear some latex gloves so no bacteria from his hands affects the earring. Tell him to be very patient ans careful if he's never done this before.
Also, don't bother with painkillers just do it don't be a wuss it doesn't hurt that badly.

OMG NO!!.. u'll die of pain if u jsut pierce a hole flat out liek that.. o wow.. wat u do it first make sure u numb ur ear.. put ice on it for about a minute and check to c if u can feel urself poking or pinching it.. if u can keep holding it... then take a hot needle thats been in alcohol for decontamination (oo big word..lol) and peirce it.. make sure u remove the ice the seecconnddddd u r going to peirce it or ur ear wont be as numb as it shud be. and there u go. =D

make sure to WASH the jewelry first! when i pierced my own ears, i used a thumb tack since it has a point. and then put the earring through after i made the hole. i took care of it and it healed nicely.
