I am an animal lover and hate the thought that halal meat is being used in alot of schools throughout the UK. Although i am also a meat eater i hate to think that the animal that died to feed me has gone through so much pain. (for those of you who dont know what halal meat is its where the animal usually has its throat cut and drained of blood before being killed.This is how the muslims want it).

swatch, u freak.....humans eat meat but my question is should we make animals suffer more than they have to just because thats how muslims and ok maybe jews like it.

NO WAY, they should have what is put in front of them like everyone else, or have salads. If I have to pay £8.00 a week for my kids dinners, they can eat the same s.h.i.t as them.

RESEARCH, please piling chickens on top of each other in warehouses to get eggs, keeping young calves indoors for tender meat pigs not even allowed to turn around in their crates, transportation of animals, experiments upon animals in the uk, the west have used and tortured animals prolifically for years.
you need to study how we keep and market animals a few weeks ago the news reported in the midlands uk how a youth in a high rise on an estate threw a cat out of the window 60 ft high several times just for fun the cat was screaming and died after a few throws, dont tell me we are humane in the west, just research the huntingham labs and rspca over the past few years, killing to eat with repect to the creator is not barbaric the west capitalism and downright sick maltreatment of animals is.

Halal and kosher means clean, that's what MOSES asked for and what;s wrong with that. Jews have it and Muslims have it, they are the same but different tribes that's all.

Meat is Meat, it dies in a reletively slow time, it's processed, it's eaten. No industry specifically makes animals suffer when they are processing meat.

Different cultures see things in different ways. Personally it seems a bit barbaric to me because It's not what we tend to do. We electrocute them to death. Is that really any better?
