Saving is always good, but it is over rated.

Sometimes you need to reward yourself to enjoy life.

I suggest you save some and spend some.

For example, save half, $15 and spend half on something you like. Maybe you want to buy a CD, or see a movie. They both cost about $15. There goes your $30.

Treat yourself, but be smart about it.

how old are you kid? whatever you buy, make sure it isn't something you will lose interest in right away. or... buy someone important to you a gift that they'll like. the brownie points are worth more than $30.

Figure out what you want. A couple of nice shirts? Cool jeans? Maybe some shoes? A cheap Chinese skateboard, or a good used one?
