Everything's Tuesday... One of my favourite songs ever. To be honest, I don't remember them cos I wasn't born when they were releasing hits, but all the same; they're class.

Yep, I'm actually a big fan of The Stylistics, The O'Jays, The Tavares, Earth Wind & Fire, Kool & The Gang etc... For an 18 year old my knowledge of older music really is quite impressive, even if I do say so myself, haha.

Don't they sing "Give Me Just a Little More Time?" I was young when they were out. Music back then was for all ages so my parents listened to the same music as I did.
You should try to listen to the O'Jays, Earth, Wind and Fire, the Dramatics, and Stylistics. You could get lots of the cds from Rhino record's website.

be lovin' some general johnson and classic carolina beach music...mr johnson was also involved with another r&b/beach music group called the showmen...he also wrote a #1 hit for the honey cone in 1970 called "want ads"...AND he wrote "patches" which became a hit for soul man clarence carter!...
when i worked at a radio station in richmond, va in the early 90s...the chairmen used to paly beach music festivals there several times a year and met general johnson several times...super nice man as well as super talented...
