I was just 15 when I went to a speed gun test and I clocked an astonishing 81.2km/h... may be because I'm from Pakistan, the land of BOWLING SULTANS... But I'm not ridiculing you, I'm just telling you my own experience, I think you must have not warmed up before the test, it is one of the most important aspect, you cannot clock 80+ at your very first attempt. so you have to first make yourself prepared, and you are young now and you can improve a lot, may be in future you can go beyond 85+
And yes when you become a grown azz man your speed is bound to increase, so dont worry and keep playing.
Good Luck

It will depend on several things. Height, Arm speed, Position of wrist, and rhythm up to the crease. Also speed means nothing if you don't bowl in the right areas. It has always been the most accurate bowlers who have been the best. That's what makes Shoab so great, He has both!

by making use of practice and getting extra advantageous. velocity is barely effectual nevertheless in case you hit the pitch difficult, so strenght is needed. velocity at transport, flattening with the front arm and following via (smoothness of action) are important. I actual have been bowling and education bowlers for two decades and that is going to be mentioned (for my section) velocity is organic. in case you bowl at 120k/h you could strenghten up an get one hundred thirty-a hundred thirty five ok/h yet you will on no account bowl at 150k/h. everybody has there own greater cut back.

My 6 year old daughter bowled 25 mph on her first ever attempt.
But in answer to your question, at 16, you are still growing so no-one can predict how much power you will have in your bowling arm when you are older.
Don't forget that you could either be a slow bowler or a fast one - it's not the speed of the bowl that counts.
Keep practising.
Good luck :-)

i've faced a 15 year old once and he bowled a consistent over of 112 to 116km/h so i think that you are around normal pace but with the right coaching and technique the sky is the limit.
