Because if they admit something is wrong it means (to them anyway) that they are wrong, and therefore part of the problem. Besides, it's always easier to point & lay blame than to help find a solution.

OK it is like this we all make mistakes, I think Bush is doing the best as he can, I don't think any other president could do any different than what is being done if we are to stay free we have to fight for it. it will not be given to us, sad but true. this is not America's first war for freedom and I am sure it will not be the last. should we just lay down and let them bast**** take over I think not we have to fight for it are freedom, I hope I have helped that is the way I feel.

If we can't believe our own President, then who/what CAN we believe?
I think a lot of people would feel lost, if they imagined that the information they are being fed by the big institutions that exist for that purpose is often partial, spun, slanted and/or false.
