Is it better to be natural than have lots of plastic surgery to acheive a better look? Is it better to accept what you are or pay money to change your looks for your own gratification?

It is better natural because you eventually will have to tell the one who loves you that you are a phony. The only exception would be because of a medical reason.

It depends on how miserable you are with your current looks, and what you think you will accomplish by having the surgery. If you're thinking "my life will be so much better if I just have a smaller nose", then you should probably just stick with the one you have. Many people suffer from remorse after plastic surgery because not only does their life NOT change, but suddenly they're several thousand dollars poorer, too.

I think it also depends on your age, too. When I was in my teens and early twenties, there were things about my looks that I HATED, and now I LOVE them because they are what makes me who I am. As you get older, you get more interested in being distinctive and less interested in looking like everyone else. So if you've "fixed" all the things that give you character, suddenly you have nothing to call your own that sets you apart.

Young people will say to go natural. Older people know that they will change their minds when they get older. There is nothing wrong with plastic surgery if it makes you feel better. Think about it this way: if you had really crooked teeth but could eat o.k. and they weren't decayed, would you have them straightened? Why not go natural and leave them alone? If a big nose bothers you, have it fixed just like someone would have teeth fixed. A sagging neck bothers middleaged women in a profile view and jowls are unsightly. Sagging eyelids are tiresome just to hold up and you can't see to the side. I am for having it if you can afford it. It can get obsessive but subtle work doesn't hurt anything.

I believe it is better to be natural than have lots of plastic surgery. Everybody is born a different way that makes them special. These days, the sterotypes of being beautiful are outrageous and making a lot of girls, like myself, self conscious. If you want to pay the money to change your looks, go ahead, but it's what's inside that matters the most.

For me it is better to be how I am, changing bits of my face and body would not make me feel any different about myself, I would still be me inside with the same hang ups and worries, no amount of plastic surgery can take those away from people, so I will just be me and be happy with my looks as they are.

It is better and safer to be natural, just think of all the different cosmetics you could buy at a fraction of the price to achieve a really good look with no bad consequences. Dont give your money to the cowboys to disfigure you for a high price! That said, if people dont like you the way you are that's their problem don't let them make you feel insecure be happy with you!

I like smaller boobs if that is what you are asking. I like smaller bodies too. So unless there is a problem with the way you look there is no need to change anything. Depends on what you want.

My current girl friend has had a boob job and is now a C cup. Not much wrong with it but I would have rathered had a small real B cup then a heavy C cup that is not real.

Your body so up to you.. Just depends on who you are wanting to impress.

Ooooo - this is a tough one! I think you should really be happy in yourself. If you're not - then do something to make yourself feel better. Go to a salon, start a class, meet new people....But you know, sometimes people need to have plastic surgery to feel better. The decision really lies with you! Good luck!

If you don't accept yourself as you are, and make artificial changes to your body, where do you stop? I think people who get plastic surgery to improve thier body never seem to be satisfied. There is always something else they would like to change.

I think people rarely have plastic surgery for their own gratification, it is because they are insecure and want to conform to what society considers beautiful i.e. they want to gratify society.
