being faithful to one person is a choice. It is not natural to be faithful.

As a faithful married man, I think you should remain faithful to your one mate. Yes men have the desire to breed with every woman the they can, but you are a better person (and you will have less problems) if you stay with the person that you chose as a mate. As for being natural, we don't go around sniffing people to see if they are ready to breed. We are above that. If you want a better reason to be faithful try explaining how you would tell your mate that you have a disease and that they may have it too. Or maybe try to explain why someone else is carrying your child/ you are carrying the child of someone else.

No its not. Not at all. Many animals in nature have more than one mate and families from several mates. As humans its what we choose to be, bound by our religious beliefs and our marriage vows, sworn to in the eyes of God. Being unfaithful therefore is also a choice we can choose. But then in Utah under the Mormon faith one can have several wives which really brings to light a whole new meaning to being faithful. Right?

No i do not think it is natural the reason l say that is because you have to work hard to not cheat or think about cheating or wondering what it would be like to cheat so to me that mean that nature says it is natural to be with more than one person.

Yes I think it is natural to remain faithful to one person. Our parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, etc. were raised to be faithful to one partner for life.

You were taught to marry, raise a family, make a good living to provide for that family, spend time with your grandchildren, then even move in with your children or grandchildren as you age.

The nuclear family was the center of your world. It is too bad that modern society has ruined that ideal for us.

Ah, yeah. I have only been with one person all of my life and I am 45 years. That's the way God intended it. Have you ever heard of fornication and adultery? I am not "unnatural". Why do you think that there are so many STD's out there?

Yes it's natural and possible, but that doesn't always mean it will work out that way!

of course. faithfulness shows commitment, responsibility, and love for the other (in a sexual or non-sexual way). its natural if you feel it is natural. if not, then it's not. whether or not something is "natural" is completely individualistic.
