Good thinking.
The present "code word" for socialism and/or communism is Progressive.
These liberals can't get votes by saying they are commies, pinkos, or socialists.
But they think they can trick people by using the description Progressive
Sounds so innocent.

The very idea that Socialists, Marxists, or our American version, Liberals are "Progressive" is laughable!
Just how "Progressive" was the Soviet Union? Where are they today?
How about Cuba, you call that Progress?

I think socialism is very progressive. The US needs to become a Socialist Democracy. It would be a whole lot more livable then. I dont equate socialism with marxism and I dont view socialism negatively.

Not really. Teddy Roosevelt was a progressive Republican, he set up our national parks, food and drug purity laws, and broke up monopolistic trusts that were robbing people like you, so if you want to categorize people like that as "socialist" or "marxist" its cutting yourself off from a lot of benefits people like Roosevelt created. Progressives now would like to see the country with national health care, so that you won't go bankrupt and have to live in the gutter when your health insurance company denies your claim, if you are even lucky enough to be able to afford and qualify for health insurance. "Progressive" is a good thing.
