i have 2 new Betta fish i have had them before but they came in really dirty tanks i have a big tank with divider for them but no water set for 48 hours any type of water were i can just put them in?

just run out and get some declorinater for the water- probably spelled that wrong...but its a buck or two at walmart and you put it in the water and it makes the water instantly safe for fish- its a must have!

The most cost effective thing to do is to fill the tank with tap water and add the stuff that removes chlorine from the water. It's probably a lot cheaper than buying enough gallons of bottled water, even the cheapest kind that comes in gallon containers. Also, it's a lot easier to haul a small bottle weighing a few ounces than all the gallons of bottled water!
You should be able to find the stuff at any pet store. You may also be able to find it at grocery or variety stores that have a pet fish section. Several brand names include: Prime, AmQuel, AP Tap Water Conditioner, Aquasafe Plus

i'd buy bottled water equivalent to ~25% of the volume of the tank and probably add some Stress Coat anyhow since it helps prevent diseases too. (i add Stress Coat to all water - aged, bottled, etc.) this way you can reuse the bottled water containers to age tap water to fill up your tank a little more over the next week and after that you'll have the containers to age tap water for 25% water changes.
(note: make sure you adjust your tank heater to a lower setting while the tank volume is low so you don't stress your fish by overheating)

Bottled spring water works well. If you have an air pump aerate the tap water for four hours. The water movement will help to get rid of the chlorine.

R/O water..or bottled water works well for fish..no need to add chemicals

if u got to any super market u can get one or more gallons of purified water right off the shelf it is allready at room temp so u dont need to keep it out for 48 hrs .
