I'm thinking of going to a college near where my sister and brother went to college. Its in Wisocnisn- Wasusa. I never been there before but I think it would be nice to be near my older siblings. Don't u? (At least if i can get into that college...but I doubt it w/ my grades lol)
I cant decide what college! Im thinking of getting into the Universties of Attlanta or Wisconisn with my othe rfamily. But it's really hard. I have really good grades but cant decide. Whats ur opinion?
Have any of u ever been to a college campus in Wisconisn- Wasua? Is it nice, is it that good feeling? lol, does it look glamourous when its nighttime and u guys go clubbing? Good shopping there, god school, good people, good teachers, good dorms, everything!

I'm guessing Wasusa is supposed to be Wausau...in that case, Wausau's kind of nice but there's nothing around it for a long while; it's a decent city in the middle of nowhere. Depending on where your siblings went, it could be a hike-if they are in Wausau then of course not, but if they went to Madison or LaCrosse or Eau Claire or something it would be pretty far.
If you're looking for glamorous nightlife, Wisconsin is unfortunately not going to be what you're looking for. But if you're looking for everything else, Wisconsin would be a great choice. Wisconsin's college system is pretty good for a state system-a lot of people don't realize that UW-Madison is actually a state school-and education is really important in the area so there are a lot of good teachers. The people are really nice and quite helpful, and the food (especially dairy) is top notch.
There is a ski hill in Wausau if you like that sort of thing; otherwise there's some shopping, some dining, some of everything you'd expect in an average size town.
Be aware--Wisconsin weather is kind of vicious; it can change 50 degrees or more in a single day. The winters are cold and snowy (and icy); the summers are hot and humid.
But the people are wonderful and everything's got the home-y feel.

Besides beer and cheese and lake effect snows, Wisconsin, specifically Millwaukee, has been the home to many of our nations most notorious serial killers, including Jeffrey Dahlmer and Ed Guine. Kinda makes you wonder if being flat windy and cold doesn't just drive some people over the edge.

Over Columbus day, take a tour of the college, You have to make an appointment with the counselors, lots of kids visit the college first to see if they like it. I highly recommend it so your choice will be easier to make.
