Carbohydrates - compounds made up of carbon, hydrogen, and oxygen atoms. Ratio - 1:2:1
Lipids - made mostly from carbon and hydrogen atoms.
Nucleic Acids - macromolecules containing hydrogen, oxygen, nitrogen, carbon, and phosphorus.
Proteins - macromolecules containing nitrogen, carbon, hydrogen, and oxygen.
Protein - (-NH2) - amino acid. (-COOH) - carboxylic acid. (-CH-R) R can be anything
