Look at it this way. While the things written in that email are ESSENTIALLY true, it is the result of 200 years of oppression.
Eventually, when everyone is and has been treated fairly, equally, justly and there are the same opportunities for everyone and have been for decades, this will all change. Eventually, nothing will be about race, it will be about individuals. Until that time comes, there's going to be disparity and bitterness and racial strife and injustice of all kinds towards all the races.
The fact is this: Racism is NEVER ok, REGARDLESS of who is being racist or whether or not they think the reason is a good one or justifiable. It's either NEVER ok, or it's ALWAYS ok.

To be honest I'm not racist either but I do see your point....... Why even have a station called black entertainment television. that is racist in my opinion. Good for you for pointing out this to everyone i have thought about that but never said anything. I think everyone should stop living in the past because most the people living today had no control over that. Start living for the future to become one nation and not seperated by what the new generation had no control over.

Very well spoken. This is so true that it is scary. White people really are the ones held back by racism in this country.
We cannot be promoted because of Affirmative Action. We cannot have our own qualifications considered for anything. We must be held back by out skin color so others who are less qualified are promoted due to their skin color.
I was once hired because I was white. I did not know it at the time, but the school was 95% black and the state was going to withhold funding if the faculty was not 50% white-50% black. I was hired because they needed my white face to get state funding. I was so upset that I quit the job. I do not want to be hired because of my skin color - I want to be hired because of my ability to do the best job possible.

I believe that too... I wonder about it alot.. Why is it theat they can have all these things but if we did we would be racists.. We can't call them racist because if we do they call us racist right back and then soemthing bad happens. i understand where your coming from... it is funny how a white person can have a 3.0 GPa and not get a scholarship but if a black person has a 3.0 they cna throguh that fund.. its sad

You address alot of the problems with America today. We will wake up soon and put an end to all this BS. It will start with race riots-only this time the whites will riot and we will be smart enough not to burn our own neighborhoods.

One can be a racist without even trying to be one.
Just a minor correction, Maulid Al-Nabi isn't racial based, it's religion based.
Objectively speaking, there's nothing wrong to have those thing you stated in your question. That includes the white college thing. What made you think everyone will accuse you being racist if you have them if I may know? Or is it just assumption.

you're right. but have you thought why it's like that. we didn't have it as easy when we came here as the other races when they come here. just flip it. if the blacks were the dominant/superior race when whites came to the US, and they wouldn't give them equal citizenship, but used them as slaves, broke down their will, and created every obstacle they could think of to hold them down - when they found some way that they could fight back to get their dignity, wouldn't you do it? wouldn't you forbid them to treat you as they did when you first came here- like call you racist names? Do the math and let us know what you figured!
