I recently moved to the country and decided to take up farming.
(I have lived in the city my whole life.)
Anyway, I drove to the local co-op and told the man there to sell me 100 baby chickens. The man complied and helped me pack up my truck with the chickens. I eagerly drove home to grow my chickens.
Well, after an unsuccessful week I decided that maybe I didn't have enough chickens so I returned to the man to buy 200 more baby chickens.
Once again the man boxed them up and helped me load up my truck. I drove home and tried to grow my chickens (again!)
Another week went by and still no luck growing chickens!
I decided that I am going to give it one more try so I bought 500 baby chickens.
Same thing – bought them, drove them home, etc…
Well, let me tell you - I had another week of failure! I'm either planting them too deep or too far apart. I just can't grow any chickens! Or maybe it is the fertilizer?
Can you give me any advice?
