I didn't read all the crap but I'm living in a marraige where my husband has no rights with his kids from ex. She is an evil,backstabbing,2 faced,b*tch. All the courts want to do is listen to her. I think it's just easier to beleive them than to actually listen to the case. It does suck. Get a good lawyer. Hope you can afford it.

Dear Bill C.
I hope you have someone a family member or someone who can help you. This is insane!!!!
I do not care about your ex or the new guy, I care that a 10 year old child is talking about abuse. No one can tell you what yto do. I know laws are strick.
I would be on the phone to a legal aide attorney (no charge) and also get ideas of what can be done.
We all are different. I would do anything to protect my child and face the music later. Children do not lie and make these type of things up. Her future is at stake.
Good Luck
and...Thank- You so much for your military service!!!

You can try your local legalaid assoc for help or evn nearby university with a law dept for either an atty in training or a paralegal for help. What youre hoping to do will cost you alot because of different states and youre not going to like the outcome either. Unless you can get documented proof (police reports, medical records) of any abuse by either this guy or her mother, youre pretty much sol. because what youre trying to do is convict this guy on hearsay evidence only. Please dont get me wrong, I believe your daughter like you do but the courts only go on concrete evidence which in this case probably wont be easy to get. Sorry wish I had a better answer for you but the law is what it is and sucks totally at times and is unfair at others. Good luck. By the way unless the mother has documented charges of child or drug/mental abuse charges against her, you wont gain custody that way either

The first thing to do, is make it public, get a story in the paper or even on the news, once heat is put on a judge or others who are in the wrong, the ball will start rolling. People like that don't want to be in the public eye, and being that you are an American soldier will even get you more attention, and people will come forward to even help you....hope I could help

You need an attorney. See if the military will pay for one. You should write down ANY allegations that your daughter says and take her into the hospital right away for an examination. You need to protect yourself, too. You don't want the ex telling authorities that YOU are the one abusing her. Be as close as you can to your daughter. I mean, within walking distance.

Next to NONE. On the books, every right a woman has, in practice, in court, in front of that judge, you are a money making machine meant to live in abject poverty and your rights as a parent are negligible. Especially if a woman decides to make any accusations ( without proving one!0 against you about violence or drinking etc...

Call Child Protective services if your daughter is being abused-if she would tell a teacher, they HAVE to report it.
www.fathersrights.org has some good info for fathers.
