Depending on the car most shops won't charge you for an estimate on your cv Joints...
The normal cost at any shop is between 180 and 200 dollars.

Most are about $100-$180 per side. depends on the garage you take it to and the make of the car.

i had to replace my cv joints..they were about gone..and it was leaking fluid..
its a must fix and shouldnt cost you much..i think it cost us 100 on my civic.
i think it can affect your brakes too..not sure
