A major virus that is been sent through limewire not from downloading songs but something else. There is about ten people we know that have got this major virus. Can anyone give me any information?

I didn't get everything my friend was saying but he phoned to worn me not to let anyone download limewire onto my computers (as i have an internet cafe and djs come in to get songs)

If you're worried that limewire is spreading viruses, try this;

Frostwire is an open source version of limewire and is completely spyware/adware free, plus being free itself.

Any virus you get from a file you download and then run though is a risk everyone takes every time they download anything.

Don't use any p2p's that are supported by ads, they are all garbage and full of who knows what these days.

no sorry i dont know but it sounds very bad!! i have used limewire in the past and wouldnt like to pick up this virus. Do you have any other details like how the people you know got it if not through songs...
