I drive by every day and if I need gas and see an open bay I pull in and get a tank. If I am going somewhere I normally keep an eye on the price as I go and I try to stop by one of the better spots on the way back home. So why wait in line if you drive by the same place everyday?
Just fill up your tank and drive.. When it gets half empty just keep an eye out for a good price and stop in and get it or get it tomorrow because you are not going to run out anyway. A tank of gas normally last me two weeks. If I'm on a trip then I have to get gas as I need it so I might end up waiting in line.

Nah. It is simply not worth it. It is amazing how folks will pay entirely too much for something (like the outrageously oversized truck or SUV they are filling up with gas) and then sit there at the pumps just to save less than 50 cents at the pumps.

78.5 minus 73.2 = 5.3 cents...to have the gas filled is worth it instead of tomorrow, unless you have enough gas into tank.

well no i dont usually wait in line for gas unless its 3 or less cars. but i also dont wait in line for a table at a restaurant. protein is protein and a chair is a chair so no i will not be waiting more than 10 minutes for you to undercook a steak.

I am sorry that you have such long lines. We just don't have any lines here. Gas is pretty competitive. We pay about 2.12 per gallon right now. I am in Dallas Texas area.

I don't think most people enjoy waiting in line for anything.
Would be nice if we could use that time to do something more constructive or maybe pleasurable.

How much?
Have you got any idea how much petrol is in England?
But then again - I don't suppose you care?
(in case you do - its around 90pence a litre. That's about 2 dollars - for one litre.)
But then again - we're all stinking rich over here.
