Hoodia is an excellent appetite suppressant. When you introduce that with a good exercise and diet plan, you can definitely enhance the weight loss. It's important to remember that there isn't a magical pill that melts the extra pounds off.
I take a supplement called Herbalean. It's made by the original creators of MetaboLife, and not only does it contain Hoodia, it also has Ephedra. It also has 77 trace minerals and 14 herbs. I've taken other supplements like HydroxyCut, Xenadrine, etc and had mixed results. With Herbalean, I get the energy through the whole day, and I definitely don't have any cravings.
I've been working a lot of hours at work, and haven't been getting enough exercise, and sure haven't been eating all that well. Still, I'm losing weight, just not as fast as I normally would with my regular exercise plan. Still, I'm not gaining like I was!

Here are several tips that will help you shed that unwanted weight and create a more healthy and attractive figure.
Increase Protein
When you diet, keep your protein at 55% of your calories. This will help you maintain your muscle mass and keep your metabolism elevated. Eat low-fat protein sources like chicken breasts, egg whites, and fish.
Eat 75%
When you sit down to eat, look at your plate and leave 25%, eating only 75% and thereby cutting as many as 300 calories from every meal.
Lift Some Weights
Do a small 20 minute program of lifting weights twice a week along with cardiovascular exercise to build up muscle strength, replacing fat with muscle.
Move Around More
An obese person spends an average of 2.5 hours more daily in a chair than a thin person. Try walking back and forth while talking on a cell or cordless phone, use the steps rather than the elevator, and park farther away and walk to your destination.
Weigh Yourself Monthly
Don't weigh yourself too often and become discouraged by the up and down variations from day to day. Weigh yourself at the same time every month to better see long term trends in your weight.
Buy A Pedometer
This is a very accurate way to make sure you take at least 10,000 steps a day to help you reach and maintain your weight loss goals as you walk to do your various errands and activities.
Have Your Thyroid Tested
If you are adding weight, have joint and muscle aches, have unusual facial puffiness, or are unusually tired, this could be the sign of a sluggish thyroid slowing down your metabolism, causing weight gain. This can be remedied by taking the right medications.
Reduce Stress
When you are stressed, your adrenal gland generates the cortisol stress hormone, which increases your appetite and triggers release of the insulin fat-storing hormone, causing your body to hold onto fat, even if you are eating less.
But often, stress makes you overeat comfort foods like chocolate, ice cream, potato chips, cookies and donuts. Those high carbohydrate goodies raise your serotonin levels, boosting your mood in a form of self-medication. Salty snacks raise blood pressure, which also raises cortisol levels, contributing to a vicious cycle of overeating.
To break this cycle, you should set a fixed eating schedule and stick to it. Schedule your three meals and three snacks throughout the day so you always have something to eat every three or four hours. Savor every bite instead of gulping down too much before your brain tells you that you are full. Regular exercise and relaxing meditation can also relieve your stress.
Have you eaver though of dressing to look 10 pounds lighter instead of fretting over your last few pounds?
Darker colors, clothing a bit loose but not overly baggy , v necklines, having your top and bottom colors in the same shade will also make you look thinner.
Sometimes it's hard to lose those last few pounds because the body really doesn't need to lose it. You just think that you do.
I personally do like hoodia but it doesn't sound like you need it right now. Your on a plateau. Up your water intake ans you should be able to break the plateau.

Don't take a pill you'll gain the weight back as soon as you stop taking them. Do you have access to the YMCA? Swimming is great and fun. If you have a dog take him to the park and walk. If you have a PS2 or an XBOX you've got to buy DDR. Last summer my daughter asked for it and OH MY GAWD! You wouldn't believe how much fun we've had and the weight I've lost. I quit my gym and we now own 6 different versions of the game. What a blast! Rent one and try it! You'll love it. All the local schools and gyms have been buying the game to improve the Gym classes. Good luck!

Counting fat grams worked for me. I lost 100 pounds in less then a year. You also will need to exercise daily. I walked 5 miles a day and did aerobics. Drink lots of water and stay away from soda pop. You can do it! Don't give up and don't weight yourself anymore then once a week.

I've been using this method for the last 2 weeks and I've lost 7lbs already. It's free and you control WHAT you eat. The key here is not to overbinge on calories and junk food....
So, go to this website first and calculate your calorie intake required to lose weight:
http://www.hpathy.com/healthtools/calories-need.asp
Then, go to www.fitday.com and register (it's free and easy). You will need to go in a couple times a day to log your food and exercise. You need to put your goals in there and if you generate reports on what you are eating/exercising this will help you see where you are going wrong. It will help you to also view if you are receiving proper nutrients your body needs daily.
This is a great way to monitor your food intake, exercise and doing it in a healthy way.
Good luck to you!!
You can do this if you are motivated to do so.

First, congrats for knowing you're not tubby - that weight for your height is not bad! Too many women have unrealistic body images.
Second, stay away from hoodia and other quick fixes - they succeed fast, but fail faster.
Finally, you can do it - just start to add a little more activity, and cut out a couple of fatty foods. I recently started walking, and I feel better, which makes me want to walk more. Get a friend, or a dog, or a friend's dog...company makes it more fun.
You can do it!

The typical lean, thin people you see on excercise informercials are not really how they look like. They dehydrate themselves and eat a lot of sugar to get their muscles to look lean and look like they have no fat in their body for a few hours.
There is no point in losing 25 lbs if you aren't healthy. Using, http://www.halls.md/body-mass-index/av.htm , it seems that 179 is the appropriate weight for your height although if you do excercise, muscle can take up a little more weight than fat. Muscle is good and having that extra lbs due to muscle doesnt really matter. You seem healthy enough already...dont look to social norms for what you should look like.

If you exercise and eat right, then maybe you're not supposed to be 25lbs lighter. Not all of us are meant to be skinny meenies.
But I'm at Ladies Express Workout and my pants seem to be a little looser lately. Like the first responder, the circuit workout is GREAT!!!

The secret is to first detox. See a nutritionist or visit a health food store and get a good detox. Eat just chicken, fish or turkey and vegetables. No fruit, sugar, bread or anything white. Drink tons of water. You can lose 25 lbs. this way, believe me I did.
