About a little boy who lived in the ghetto with his single mom. He is bullied, but finds a cat that he dotes on. His mom finds out he has been charging cat food to their account and kicks the cat out. He makes a home for the cat in a vacant lot in an old abandoned stove and tends to it daily. The bully children find out about his love for the cat and while teasing him with the cat, throw it in front of a truck, killing it.
For the life of me, I cannot remember the name of this, our entire family was bawling while watching it, yet none of us can remember the name.
