i have 2 young and recently openned building society accounts for them to save money for when they are older. is there any way i can set it up so that i pay x into the kids accounts each month, like in the form of a direct debit or a standing order? otherwise i just forget to pay the money in!!!

There are lots of ways.. go into your bank and speak to an adviser...

I would suggest setting up an online banking account.. that way you can alter the amount and dates of your payments as and when you need to.. you can also set up standing orders/direct debits online makes things ALOT easier

yeah contact your bank and tell them you want to set up a standing order. They will ask for the recipients account number and sort code.

Yes just set it up with your bank. You need to give them the sort code and account numbers that's all.

Yea you should just be able to set up a transfer I use transfer pocket money into my sons account every month

direct debit but be careful how much you put in as you could be penalised for it,when i lost my job and tried to claim benefits i couldnt because my kids had x amount in their accounts.

next time you are in the bank just tell the teller what you want to do and they will help you to do what you want and earn their wages at the same time.
