i have liked this guy for a while and there was a rumor once that he liked me but we hang out a lot but i think he just likes me as a friend but also he always confides in me and stuff but he sometimes avoids me HELP!!! positive answers only please!!!!!

Rumors are usually just that, rumors, so don't go on that, I've had a lot of rumors about me and guys when I was in HS and college, and they were hardly ever true. Of course, this could be different. Still, I had this same situation when I was in college. I liked my best friend and we were always hanging out and I thought he might like me too. I finally decided one day to tell him that I liked him. He had already known, but didn't want to get involved that way. We stayed best friends though, and even two years after we graduated and I'm married to someone else we stayed best friends. Even though we live two hours away from each other, we stay in tough, heck, we had a three hour phone convo this morning...lol.
So I say go for it. He might feel the same way and ya'll will go out, and if not, then it'll be easier for you to get over it and as long as you don't let it hurt your friendship, it will be better for it. Just don't let it hurt your friendship if he doesn't. You have to make sure you keep talking to him afterward no matter how hard it is. It will soon go back to normal. But maybe he does like you too. You will never know unless you try. Just one day say, "I just wanted you to know that I like you, I don't know if you feel the same way, but I wanted you to know." If he doesn't then make sure you let him know you don't want it to hurt your friendship, but if he does then AWESOME. Either way, you have it out in the open. Good luck in whatever you choose to do.

I would just take the direct route and ask him out. I've been shot down everytime i asked a girl i was close to out, but im 330 lbs and amazingly and contrary to what people say it does mean something.
If you are good friends things shouldnt get too wierd once you ask him. if he says no, don't push that will make things wierd....i know. but if he says yes, you just got a date with your crush.
If he does stop talking to you after you ask him, he wasn't worth it to begin with.

Ask him if he knows any nice club or cafe to go. If he will invite you, there is a chance.

Well just ask him, go: "Hey, do you like me?" And if he does then he'll be: "Uh...Ya...Why? Do you like me?" And then you go: "Well...Ya..." Then you have a moment of akward silence. Then you go: "So I was wondering, maybe, if you would like to go out with me?" And then he goes: "Well...sure..."
