Sometimes. Stereotypically, The English have long skinny heads, and the Germans have more squarish looking heads. Of course neither of these is necessarily true. The best thing to do is listen to them talk or just ask them where they come from.

Just by seeing the person? Easy, the German has a German face, the Englishman has a British face.

English usually have very pale and pasty looking skin and have bad teeth. Like Austin Powers. Germans usually have a serious and determinded look about them and are rather good looking with a Euro kind of look. Both can be good looking people i guess. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Germans are kinda pinky-skinned, with pale eyebrows and almost white hair. Englishman are mostly quite fat and they lack the sence of style, especially women! they dont put make up, drink beer from the bottle, and running drunk from one guy to another in clubs. man are usually tattoed and pierced.
I'm sorry if I insulted someone, but that's what I saw during my hollidays in the Meditarranean

German people normally carry bratwurst, and wear a monocle -- English people make a point of not talking to their neighbours, and don't carry a bratwurst.
