BECAUSE THEY HAVE HIGHER LEVELS OF NARCISSISM THAN OTHERS, AND THEY LACK THE COPING SKILLS TO RELAX. THEY NEED TO HAVE THINGS THEIR WAY, CONVINCE OTHERS THAT THEIR VIEW IS CORRECT, AND THEY ARE HEAVILY INVESTED IN BEING 'RIGHT' ABOUT EVERYTHING. THEY LACK EMPATHY AND THE ABILITY TO SEE BEYOND THEIR OWN PERSPECTIVE, AND IT REALLY GETS UNDER THEIR SKIN.

Different reasons. Perhaps that behavior was the norm in the environment where they grew up. Perhaps that behavior was reinforced (either intentionally or unintentionally) as they grew up, so it is ingrained in them. Perhaps they are compensating for guilt, shame, or insecurity, i.e. if you are hot-tempered and blow whenever things get uncomfortable, nobody will call you on things or know that you really can't handle a situation in a more appropriate way because they don't want to deal with your temper tantrum.

People have different tempers, just as they have different senses of humor. All people are not the same, and different things can make different people angry.
