6-t/4=8+t/2
Multiply both sides by 4:
24-t=32+2t
Add t-32:
-8=3t
Divide by 3:
t=-8/3

do u mean 6 - t/4= 8 + t/2
or (6-t)/4 = (8+t) /2?
both will have diff ans
1st equation
6-8 = t/2+ t/4
-2 = (2t + t)/4
-8 = 3t
t = -3/8
2nd equation
(6-t)/4 = (8+t) / 2
2(6-t) = 4 (8+t)
12 -2t = 32 + 4t
-20 = 6t
t= -20/6 = -10/3 = -3.33333......

It is your question ;
(6-t) / 4 = (8+t) / 2
2 * ( 6-t) = 4 * ( 8+t)
12 -2t = 32 +4t
-2t - 4t = 32 - 12
-6t = 20
t = 20 / (-6)
t = -3.333 ...
& It is the correct answer
Good Luck...
