I would have no problem with an American citizen.Liberal, Moderate ,Green Party, conservative or what ever, ever calling our President a devil(free speech). But how dare that knuckle draggin' Neanderthal come to American soil and call our President "El Diablo".He comes here and exercises free speech at a U.N meeting.A right that he doesn't even bestow on his own countrymen.I was just wondering what the average American thought about that?

Did you see how he was welcomed by a liberal, Danny Glover? Liberals throughout the US love this guy. Isn't it ironic? Liberals love a dictator-tyrant. Geez...are they mixed up in the head or what?

First off, he wasn't on American soil. He made his speech at the UN, which is international territory outside the sovereignty of the U.S. Just like a foreign embassy or consulate. Second, while I think he was rather manic and probably hurt his own cause during his speech, I don't see what your problem is. If you don't mind American citizens criticizing Bush whatever their political ethos, why do you care if some foreign leader comes and does. Personally, I applaud the man for his balls, but it was generally unsuited for the forum at the United Nations and probably ended up more embarrassing for Chavez rather than Bush.

"It could be embarassing to be attentive to that Chavez has performed extra for damaging human beings than their very own government." that's precisely the spin Chavez become going for while he made those beneficiant "gives you." i'm slightly upset on your question, although. After calling human beings "idiots" for noticing that Chavez is a brutal dictator and that he's anti-American, i presumed you may gives you some help to your insult. yet no. you in easy terms bypass directly to parrot Chavez's clean tries to embarass the U. S. which no person different than toadies like your self buys into.

I don't know which is more embarrassing, the way the some well known news papers chose to keep this story off the front pages, or having Danny Glover show up (along with guests that were flown in) to show support for Chavez when he revealed to all that once again... white people are evil. Even better was the round of applause that followed. Perhaps all that attended would like to be flown down to live in poverty with the rest of Venezuela. Of course all us "working Americans" would probably have to cover the cost, but what the heck...we've been doing that for years.

I am sorry but I prefer him to Bush - any day. Maybe if I know more I might moderate my position but I have called President Bush even worst things than that - and still do .

It all started with a stolen election in 2000. I never forgave Bush or the Republicans for getting Bush apppointed to the presidency by the Supreme Court. He never was and never will be my president. I respect the office and in a few years he will be gone and we can weather the storms he and his party has created.

Forget Chavez, how is this war in Iraq going? Have we won yet?

He's not on American soil, he's on international soil. The land owned by the UN isn't in any nation. However, not granting free speech to his nation's citizens isn't something that I agree with. But, I don't call the administration's labeling anyone who disagrees with the Iraq War as supporting terrorism as free speech either.

Chavez is a clown and shouldn't be taken seriously. His side show act was like a Saturday night live skit. He must be a pot head and likes to laugh at himself. As far as the Citgo sign they should just add a "Boycott" sign over or near it.
