Well thats weird! I'm ten years old too!
I had some trouble thinking of one, but I dicided to be Miss America! I went to stores and saw outfits thatgave me ideas. Like mabey you could be an autograph book where you just wear a big white t-shirt and let people sign you, dress up as George Washington and make a big cardboard dollar bill, or you could wear a robe, mess up your hair, and hold the newspaper and a coffe mug and yell," I'M NOT A MORNING PERSON!!" hope this helps!! Ok don't listen to that first person...and Sara how dare you write that to a 10 yr old...
Check out the website I have found, they have some cute stuff for pre-teens. Like army girl, or a nurse ( something not too young but not too old for you either)
Maybe do a few more searches for "pre-teen halloween costumes"

Take a basic large box from like big TV's come in, paint it white, cut a hole in the top for your head and paint large black dots on the sides. 5 on one side, three on the opposite, six on one side, four on the other, then your head, (black cap), can be #1 and your legs, (black tights) wil be the #2 dots. Now you are a dice and it is unique and cheap!
Make sure you make it an easy box to pull off and on. Oh, by the way, Sara D. is going as a worm for Halloween this year, and every year.
