can some1 explain why...
at the end of the movie, why the hell did elizabeth kiss jack, locked his arm to the ship, made him die, and then was crying with everybody else, when the ship sank.
that's so stupid!!!!

You missed the point. She was torn between Jack and Will, and the different sides of her personality that they represented. By kissing Jack and then leaving him to die, she was giving in to her dark side (just like he said she would), while justifying it by telling herslef that she was picking the "good one", Will. She was crying because she loved Jack, at least on some level.

He is not dead - there is part three coming out soon ... and she is crying because she just left a man to DIE. She basically did it to save everybody.

If they can bring back Ripley after she does a swan-dive into a vat of molten metal, I'm sure Jack can't be erased, just by getting him wet.

If you are refering to the second he is not dead. They have already filmed the third one and he is not dead.
