I live in Birmingham and a certain really famous person is doing a gig here tonight, I was on the way home from my mates on the bus, and in the dingy backstreets of digbeth, there was about 6 ppl standing around a couple of spot lights, I looked out of the window and JAY-Z was standing against the building, he looked over and smiled and waved after seeing our shocked faces. There was no-one else around, I am still in shock!!!!! Has anybody ever saw a celebrity, real close up in real life?????

There was only us on the bus around, and he waved,definately, the road was quiet, and as he heard 2 girls on the bus shouting, he turned to look, and seen us all shocked, and he waved, maybe he is nicer than the ''celebs'' you have met, or just wasnt expecting that reaction from a bus in birmingham in a quiet place??

Just to clarify, no it wasnt sum 1 who looked like him, and he was in bham for a gig yesterday, so i guess i just got lucky.

i dont know why some people have answered this question so horribly!! it really does make them look pathetic. doesnt do them any harm if youre excited by seeing a celeb so why be like that about it....sad little meanies!
i myself have seen only a few rubbish celebs...british as well so many people on here wouldnt know who they were...but my cousin lives in london and bumped into Jude and Sienna in an art gallery!

Yes I was in a supermarket car park in clacton with my husband and we saw Denzil from only fools and horses. My husband shouted out 'Alright mate!', and he came over to the car, looked in through the open window totally confused as if he thought he should have known us and said hello back then went into the shop! I would have used my camera and taken his photo but somehow I dont think it would have been right.

Lee Horsley...He was filming a movie in terminal Island off the Henry Ford Bridge in Long Beach Ca. He dove off the bridge into the water where a couple of us were sunning and we invited him onto the boat and gave him a wine cooler.....

The rapper Fabulous comes to my neighborhood to come visit his family and little brother so we see him every once in awhile. His brother goes to my sister's school.
Oh and also she may not count as a celebrity but Masha Allen went to my school in the 6th and 7th grades. I liked her, but the other kids apart from her friends thought she and her friends were weird. When she returned from the Oprah show (which was the first time we found out about her case) nothing changed, but I thought she had guts to show back up in school. She nor her friends go their anymore. They were my friends (most) but I wasn't as close to them as they were to one another because I wasn't into Inuyasha and goth etc.

I've met Ricky Thomlinson, Cliare Sweeney, I have saw Jamie Redknapp and his wife Lousie walking there bull dog, seen Michael Owen and Robbie Fowler driving, i am mates with an actor from brookside, met a few people from there and Emille Hesky lives 5 mins from my auntie so does Robbie Fowler!
Nobody probally believes me but it true! Oh and i have saw that designer with the long hair Lawrence Lwellyn Bowen (can't spell his name) he was carrying heavy boxes and dropped them by me i was laughing and he just looked at me in shame.

I once met actress/model (L'Oreal) Andie MacDowell in front of a coffee shop she was just exiting, and I was about to enter. I was face to face with her. She was friendly, and when my friend spoke to her, and asked how she was, she replied politely, "Fine, and how are you?" Really nice, and just as pretty in real life as on the screen.

My Wife saw Silvester Stallone eating in a Steak and Shake While here doing the filming of Demolition Man. My wife was a waitress their and waited on him. She said he was a real *** and a poor tipper.
Nasty mouth she gave the table to another waitress. to this day when one of his movies come on she say's "I don't want to watch that *** hole"
