Ok, i stopped taking the pill over a month ago. since then i'v had no sign of a period. is that normal? i'v still been having sex(alot),but we used protection most times (except a few when we did the "pullout" method..yes stupid) . Also, i'm strangely tired, getting headrushes, feeling sick, crampy& bloated and have very sore breasts. i'm wondering if its all an effect of coming off the pill, or could i be pregnant? help!

all of the symptoms you are experiancing can be due to the fact that you have come of the pill and i would say that it is also very likely to be them but as you had unprotected sex using the withdrawel method i would suggest that you buy a pregnancy testing kit as there is a small chance you could be pregnant but i would say highly unlikely so just for peace of mind do a test, to me all the symptom you are describing are the result of coming off the pill most women usually have trouble concieveing after they firs come off the pill but others fall pregnant early everyones body is different although i doubt you are pregnant

The most common side-effect of coming off the pill is having a really heavy period. I would say yes it is very possible that you are pregnant and you should go to the doctor. Also, if there is any chance you are pregnant, don't smoke or drink! The pill isn't 100% effective and other methods (esp pullout) are even less effective. I know plenty of women who have gotten pregnant on birth control. When in doubt, go to the doctor!

I went off the pill last year when I decided I wanted to get pregnant, I don't remember feeling any different. But I do remember that when I got pregnant I started feeling tired and had sore breasts right away. I still got menstrual cramps and thought I was about to have my period but it's just your body adjusting to the changes when you get pregnant. GOOD LUCK! and congrats if you are pregnant!

I got pregnant 2 weeks after stopping the pill, but I was on a low-dose (Yasmin) and only on it for 3 months to regulate my hormones. Take a test.
