the poor currently have very low healthcare. if the government doesnt provide or pay for HC, then how will the poor ppl get it?

since the poor ppl dont have HC, that makes our society unjust. we are violating the poor ppl's rights of having equal opp. just because they are poor doesnt make them any less of a citizen.

The theory is that the poor have the very same opportunity as the rest of us - to get a job that pays enough for healthcare.

Personnel responsibility, is it someone else's fault for their condition. If it is someone elses fault they should pay. If we give adults healthcare why should they try to get it for themselves.
Should we pay for irresponsible people who have children.
Maybe there is more to it then a simple question answered
The US does not want to end up like Canada, I lived there and it is bankrupting the country's budget.

well... most poor people have jobs... but healthcare is so expensive they can't afford it...
there is medicaid and medicare... but that only covers the very poorest people...
the real problem is... hospitals can't turn people away in emergencies and so they have to take poor people in, then they can't pay and then they have to increase prices to pay for those services that didn't get paid for...
so, until the government provides it... it's just going to get more and more expensive and fewer and fewer people will be able to afford it...
