why do people throw eggs at cars, usually on halloweens. in some cases, it happens for no reason at all. why is that such a popular prank?
it's just plain stupid -- think of all the eggs wasted -- it could have fed hungry people.

Because they are dumb and they feel that they are cool. Think of all of the TP wasted too. That's destroying trees.

Because there will always be idiots in every village.
Maybe we could start a campaign to get the kids to donate the eggs to local soup kitchens, instead of throwing them?
It would be like trick-or-treating for UNICEF.

Eggs would go bad before they got to most of the hungary people anyway. Give em some rice and stuff like that. Throwing eggs at stuff when your young is just fun.

Egging is a sticky subject. People egg each other on. I was egged when it wasn't Halloween, it was scary. I was being egged for disagreeing with somebody.

I think its called mischief night (the night before) and its just another 'holiday" to make the teens feel like they are doing something daring. Its really idiotic and immature and I think if their parents found out, theyd be in trouble.
