Hi all,
does anyone remember the name of a 80's / 90's movie where a boy is sick, a professor gives him a homework and he makes a good deed.
The guy which received the good deed has to make a good deed to another person and so. A chain takes place and at the end of the movie all the people which made good deed meet at the first boy's house but they found out he's dead?

Pay It Forward, with Kevin Spacey and Helen Hunt. Haley Joel Osmont (sp?) is the kid.

sounds like you're describing Pay It Forward, only Haley Joel Osment isn't sick, the good deed is paid to 3 other people and he dies from a fight at school (then all the people show up)
also kind of sounds like The Mighty

The movie is, PAY IT FORWARD , released in 2000 starring Kevin Spacey, Helen Hunt, and Haley Joel Osment thru WARNER BROS. RELEASE.

the name of that movie is called "pay it forward". I just saw a repeat of it last summer. I hope this helps.
