God yes! Do you know how many people are showering in there? And not all of them have as beautiful hygeine as you or I...
In all seriousness, I would highly recommend them. Buy some flip flops at WalMart, Target, Old Navy, etc. and switch them out every 4-6 months to avoid bacteria build up. And while you are at it, make sure you eat healthy and take your vitamins...you don't want to get mono at college either...

no. paintball guns are better because you can shower alone after everyone is cleared out. a cattle prod gently touched to the shower floor is a shocking way to evacuate your roomate from the stall. keep prodding him/her out of the bathroom! jk.

absolutely! you don't want to get athlete's foot or any other sorts of diseases by going barefoot in a shower shared with many other people!

YES- especially on the weekends! Lots of puke and pee and grimmy feet.
