It seems that women need more time and space apart from there boyfriend to destress and fix themselves. My girl says even good things are a sort of pressure to women. Are guys too eager to help fix things we know nothing about?

For a healthy relationship to work both parties need space and time apart. Don't be offended by this. Before you were together you were separate people, and you still are.
I'm happy when my hubby takes a boys weekend. I watch chick flicks, take hot bath, eat what I want and best of all I don't have to clean up his messes. Enjoy your time apart and you will enjoy your time together even more!

women need more time and space because we see a need, Annalise, plan, worry, sort out, and finally do. Most guys just go to the store and buy a loaf of bread.

I am certainly not one of those women. Women that seem to need time away from something or someone are the ones who don't know what they really want.

I most be one weird female according to your girlfriend. I want my boyfriend to try to help fix something, even if he doesn't know anything about it. It shows he cares.

Who knows women are complexed creatures ..men do have it in their given natures to be protectors...and women nuturers...you are reacting in a very normal way ..im sure it is appreciated much more than u could ever know..
